342 anchor locker

While installing my new AC system, I noticed I was getting water leaking from the anchor rode locker dripping down into the forward bilge area.  I can see where it must be leaking from a seam and following the wood panel to where it drips.  I was thinking I could scrub/clean the locker best as possible and then use a liquid roofing product to 'fill' the locker bottom to seal it up, keeping the drain hole open, of course.

Anyone else ever tried this?

Dont you have drain tubes? Is the locker filling up?

I do have a drain in there. The water must be getting past a caulked (or not) area.
