2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee - Low Hours/Lift Kept - FL - SOLD!

2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee Express Cruiser - 34 ft in length with a 3 ft draft. This two owner, lift kept boat features dual Mercruiser FWC Horizon 350 MAGs with Bravo III drives (gas with only 445 hours!), a 5.0 Kohler GenSet (~52 hours total that has just received a new water pump, impeller housing, impeller and systems flush/cleaning and runs great), huge cockpit that features Raymarine color GPS/Radar and Lowrance, an extended swim platform with boarding ladder that is also setup to carry a dingy, a wet bar in the rear that offers a sink and refrigerator with ice maker, ample seating throughout, a full enclosure of canvas along with Bimini top and a windlass up front.

Inside, this boat features a large cabin which will sleep 6 comfortably, a fully equipped galley and a head with a stall shower. The master forward cabin features a queen berth that offers ample storage. The mid-cabin berth features an oversized double bed that converts to a conversation area during the day. The rear cabin berth features an oversized double bed. There is also a TV/DVD, full boat stereo system and a 16,000 BTU air conditioning system that blows ice cold off of both shore power and the generator. All pillows, blankets and sheets for the boat will be included with the sale.

This boat has been well maintained, however there are a few items that will need to be addressed. The radar screen is not working and will require replacement. The windlass will let the anchor out, but it struggles under load when bringing the anchor back in unless someone is pulling on the anchor line while it is being brought back in. The hatch access to the engines currently uses a separate switch to gain access as the factory switch only works intermittently. Lastly, there are cracks and chips in the gel coat on the radar arch. This is purely cosmetic and although these do not look great, I'm told it can be repaired relatively easily by a fiberglass/gel coat specialist. There is no damage to the radar arch itself and this is apparently a common issue for these boats. These items have been taken into account and reflected in the sale price.

This Rinker is available immediately from a motivated private party seller, can be viewed in SWFL (Cape Coral) and is offered at $39,500 or reasonable offer. SOLD!!

For any potential buyers reading this thread:  I owned this same model for ten years, and I can tell you this is a good price for this boat.  The radar screen is readily available on eBay.  The freeze damage on the radar arch is indeed a common problem, but it is only cosmetic damage.

@aves137 - good luck with the sale.

We need burgees to identify ourselves as members here.  :)  The local boating forum I post on did that some years ago.  The group is a lose knit non-club.  Facebook (and other factors) have reduced the traffic on that site, but we still get together on and off the water.

Based on your picture, it looks like you're on one of the spreader canals in the SW or NW Cape? My parents are in the SE just off the Caloosahatchee pretty much right between the Cape and Midpoint bridges.

Have you listed the boat anywhere else? Has anyone looked at it yet?

My parents had it listed with a boat broker who told them he had it listed a bunch of places. When I said I would help them sell it since the broker wasn't bringing anyone by I searched and couldn't find anywhere where he was actually advertising it. I have it up on Craigslist and that's about it. I've had a few people come to take a look at it and have a few of those coming back for a second look this weekend as the gen set wasn't firing up at the time due to less than 1/2 a tank of fuel. I'm hopeful that I can get it sold quickly for them as they're getting older and the boat just doesn't get used enough to justify keeping it on the lift.

I have had pretty good luck buying & selling boats on Craigslist. My former Z71 Tahoe, not so much - took 5 months to finally sell and had to lower the price 3 times.

I have bought and sold stuff on Craigslist easily over 200 times with great luck. I am pretty sure I have bought and sold everyone of my toys with the exception of my curent boat on Craigslist. Craigslist has been pretty good to me. I am sure you probably did this but make sure you list it for multiple big cities.
Definitely listed it for multiple big cities down here. I've oddly always had better luck with Craigslist than any of the specialty sites that are paid.

ditto on the craigslist....sold my previous and bought my new both on there....pretty amazing. Very nice boat...I paid 34 for my 270 2 years ago as a 2005. I would have been tempted on this one for sure but I wanted to trailer and did not want two motors...to poor for that! Good luck, I'm sure if you get it in front of the right person they will jump on it....I wish!
