@BMXZ, yes I would love to see your results. I posted on this forum years ago that my late uncle worked as a chemist for Shell Oil and was in on the original formulations of their synthetics. He and I had long talks about how it, in his opinion, blew-away the mineral oils in every category except maybe price.
@BellevilleMXZ, thanks for sharing, first for me, looks like a report that you get after blood work. So how do you feel about the results of this report ? You are low on calcium !!! High on Magnesium ! LOL My Doc would say watch your diet.
Yes, looks good, glad I went with it. I also use the Merc high eff. racing oil filter. I run it fairly hard, as you have to with a heavy 270, with a small block. Didn't use any in that 50 hrs either
What did that cost you and how much oil did you send them?
28plus 10 for the TBN.....I wont do the TBN again, as it looks real good,I was just curious. They send u a test kit , with a little bottle....kit is free.
So cool. Thanks Dave! They have an amazing reputation. I believe they have an on-line video that was very comprehensive showing, if I remember correctly, plasma gas spectrum analysis - VERY accurate!
this is where keeping a log benefits. 71 hours idling is tough on oil... 71 hours w/60+ at full operating temperature is fine as can be (barring anything else going on or in a healthy engine).

I run that Rotella T-6 5-40 syn in my 7.3l diesel F-350. It runs noticably quieter.
