Glad to see everyone over here.I was having a bit of an issue with my port engine (2005 Merc 350 bravo 3) When i put the drive in gear i get a small increse in idle , not a large one but enough to send the sync gauge all the way to the right. By moving the port throttle lever i can get it to settle down but then if i go to neutral and back into drive the same increase happens. I have looked at the throttle cable adjustment and all seems ok. Any thoughts, thanks, Pedro

I may be wrong but I feel like with the load of the drives and prop a increase in rpm would be needed over idling in nutural to keep the boat from stalling

Sounds like shift cables are out of adjustment. When you put the boat in gear the RPM should go down a bit not up.
