I need to replaced heat exchanger and thermostat, is this difficult to do?

    Would not think so but why di you need to replace?

    Depending on your access, not overly difficult, very messy (anti-freeze all over). Some of the bolts are a challenge to get too also. Worth having some of the ratchet type box end wrenches. 

    For the thermostat you also need the o-rings. 

    Aside from some choice words, the big challenge is to purge the air out when refilling. I posted an easy how-to on here. If you get air trapped it WILL shut down from an overheat sensor.
