It was super easy as others have stated...for sure get the little tool as you just slide it under the part and it pops right up. You could do it in less than a minute if you wanted to.
I don't have the invoice any longer, the link to the site was on another thread- will see if I can find it and add to this thread as well. Two other people I know around here are ordering theirs today!
wow, not sure how you would break the old or the new just switching them off and on....did you do it with a hammer? I guess I would describe them as good as the ones I took off- non of mine had broken, you just could not read them anymore...

Bought our boat new in '08' went through prob 8 or 9 switch covers in the first couple years. Barely look hard at them & they would break. Dealer had a paint can full of replacement switch covers for owners to pick through. Must've been a really bad batch of them installed at the factory around that time.
Just to clarify, it was the small mounting tabs on each side of the switch cover that would fail. Even while 'underway' they would fall off & end up down at your feet. Pretty disappointing at the time.
wow, yes I guess so! Never had a problem with any of mine and the new ones seem to be as good as the old ones so you might want to give them a try if your still having issues.
Hey - they are mounts for a tablet/cell phone... the idea is that I can watch one thing on the chartplotter ( dragonfly 7 pro) like the position on the chart and then watch the sonar images on the tablet.. you can wirelessly connect any tablet phone to a lot of the new chartplotters which make it super cheap to have a dual screen setup..
