I put one of those same ones in. Used the 3M removeable tape hanger stuff. Nice addition!!
Couldn't believe this wasn't an already installed option. had paper towels blowing around like crazy.. what's the deal?! with boat manufactures not thinking about this!
Lol.. no way.. While I may have that outlet, the one up on the switch panel doesn't work! Also... the boat has analog controls for air conditioning and no heat... (solved the heat with space heaters plugged into that outlet though!)
I'm also thinking of removing that piece of wood behind the faucet that I guess is supposed to keep things behind it...but it really doesn't do much for me.. anyone else get rid of it?
seems like a MUCH smaller bump would achieve the same thing right? For me it just limits the size of what can be put back there... I'd love to put a silverware tray back there..
I have a little wicker thing I put utensils in for behind that divider. I'm actually glad it's there. I put my paper towel roll (with the towels rolling OVER, the proper way for tp also) behind the faucet. The ideal design would have been an undermount sink with a corian filler/cover to place over the sink hole when not in use to maximize counter space.
Gotta love the cheap little custom things. An entire boat full of those, makes the world of difference! I'm buried under snow here, and I'm chompin at the bit to start tinkering on my boat!

They fixed that with the newer model boats. My '08 280EC has an undermount sink with a filler. It gives me a decent counter. I also have a 120VAC and 12VDC outlets behind the sink.
@J3ff, great job on the towel holder. I had the same issue, but I mounted mine in the "hanging locker" that is under my TV location.

Next to my fridge I have this fairly tall narrow cabinet you can't do a darn thing with..thinking of one of those slide out things you could put silver/dishes/condiments and then slide it back in.....same for the larger cabinet under the tv or put in some shelves....can't really use it to hang clothes like it was made for...

right? They are basically just big holes, who thought that was a good idea? you really can't do anything but stuff things in them which can never be organized. If you figure something out please post it, they are semi useless in their current state.
