Got anything heavy on the right side? I've noticed that mine will do this when the water tank is 3/4 or less full... I try and move everything heavy to the left side and make sure the waste tank is empty... I've also got three big heavy batteries on the RIGHT side so it's def a balancing act..
When that water tank is empty even three big guys hardly balance the boat out..
Has one Genny but its in the middle- starboard has he can ND a cabinet, port has the fridge, microwave.....and I keep the fresh water tank full. You would think it would lean that way!
My Genny is on port side, hot water heater is on port side. water and holding tank on starboard side. At the dock it sets flat, unless full of water and holding tank is full. its only 1/2' off if they are both full.
Our 310 also leans a little to starboard, no gen so thinking that may be why off balance Have thought about a couple of weights to even her up in the engine bay where the gen would be. I assume true balance and ballast would be set with full water (port) and empty holding stbd) and even fuel (both sides)
It is really important to be aware of the "stuff" in our boats. I try to keep my 270 as lean as possible. I keep the fuel at half tank, water at 1/2 tank and empty the waste tank at about half. Do not fill up every storage compartment. I try to leave anything I do not use out on the water in my dock box. Our boats have a lot of storage but that doesn't mean you have to fill them up with a bunch of useless stuff. My 270 has the typical 350 mag, so to get the max power out of the engine I run as lean as I can especially when I have a crowd. Next time out empty out the boat, bring only what you need and leave the rest in your dock box. Dropping 100 plus pounds is really easy and it will make a difference.
I kind of did that as we had so much stuff on the boat- I trailer so I pull off everything as the house and just take what we need. I even pull off extra life jackets!9
