a/c shore power loss

I have lost shore power supply from starboard side hookup for the air conditioner. while at the panel, it showed a polarity reverse light and then lost power. took apart the inlet plug and everything ok there. any suggestions where to start on the control panel to see where short or disconnect may have occurred? everything works fine off port side power supply.

So 110V supply and cable are good if it works on port.
Inlet cable, do you mean the part you plug the cable in?
From there there's the isolation main switch, then cable to breaker board, and 110V selector.
How old is the boat? Wondering if the cable is fried somewhere given how it "died".
