Can some one tell me what this switch is for? 280 Rinker EC.

Took delivery of our 2009 Rinker 280, and found this switch under the seat starboard side by the stern above the engine room.  Can some one tell me what it does.

    Looks like the main isolation switch.

    I think Mark is right.  It would isolate, or shut off, the incoming shore power to the boat.  If you had an electrical issue on the boat and had to shut power off quickly, you could do it here on the way out of the boat.  (then turn off at a dock breaker)  I have one I just learned about myself.

    Alswagg is right, this switch is for isolation of shore power - also good practice to utilize this switch before launch each and every time, as it is good practice to have a 'No Load" situation when pulling an electrical plug from any outlet.
