Compass on 02 242 FV

I have an 02 242 FV does anyone know how to add liquid to the compass so it reads right and not off to one side not sure if you can add liquid to the compass

I had the same problem on my 2004 250FV and ordered a new Richie 103541 from Westmarine for $72.99, it is an exact replacement. It took about 5 minutes to replace it.
