cockpit fridge light

without thinking I tossed my burnt out bulb. It's not the same as the galley fridge and not much info online. Anyone know what bulb goes in the cockpit fridge?  it's a tundra tj22ac which I think most are. Probably the same bulb as most early to mid 2000s rinkers with cockpit fridge. Thanks

    I figured it wasn't worth it... maybe if someone could figure out an LED substitute that'd be awesome.

    Thanks Handy, I thought they all had them. My light is on the ceiling of the fridge, just in front of the freezer door. It's not on the side like th galley fridge.

    Still no idea what the bulb part number is, just says 12v3w and it's fairly obvious that it is 12 volts and around 3 watts. Ended up buying a while new light assembly from a place in Florida for $31 delivered. Linda at marine specialists wouldn't return calls or emails but once I finally got her on the phone it was $15 for one bulb delivered or $53 for the light assembly delivered so $31 for the assembly delivered made the most sense to me as my outer lense was kinda melted anyway, now it's all new. Will be great to see my beers at night when I open it up :)

    Nothing, bulb just says MX 12V3W

    @Trashman where was this information weeks ago! :wink: I did try 31 - 33mm bulbs from Auto Zone which would not work. They seemed to fit ok so I do wonder if the fixture was part of the problem. Who knows....

    Lol.  Liberty I just saw your post.  I tried to copy the link from eBay hope it works. You usually have to choose the size after you hit buy it now... Or maybe before.lol.    Look for the 28mm festoon led and there's one that emits light in one direction.  It fits perfectly.  You may have to take a little fine sandpaper to the two little round wire loops in the fixture to make a good connection from what I remember.

    Interesting, the bulbs I got at auto zone were the de3022 that your eBay bulbs are. $5 for two incandescent or $8 a bulb at auto zone. Didn't work for me so must have been the fixture. Great info for others looking to change bulbs!

    Thanks, I tried that exact size 3175 and no dice so my issue had to be the fixture but I may grab these as backups and switch to led. Nice!

    Hello everyone,

    The topic is a bit old here, but I'm coming back here because I'm looking for exactly the spare part in the set for my Tundra T22 in the Rinker 250 FV. Can someone tell me where I could buy this? Probably more with you in the States than with us in Europe. I would like to order it and also accept the costs for customs, VAT and shipping because I need it urgently. Thank you!
