It's hot, but I would rather sweat than shiver! I lived in ND for 4 years, no friggin way ever again....you guys are crazy but then FL is getting kind of full...

....Dream on, Dream on...I'll be in FL in 2 months!  If things go right, my boat comes out in 4 weeks.  To me, the FL heat in the summer is just way too much.  Especially the humidity!  I wouldn't mind a bit further south someday, but no further than South Carolina.

I have to agree that the Carolina's would be ideal. Charleston is a cool city!!!

I have to agree that the Carolina's would be ideal. Charleston is a cool city!!!

I lived there for 5 years. Same heat and humidity and occasional snow too

It just needs to be a spot to park my boat .  I don't need to stay there all winter or summer, but it's halfway up or down the coast.

No need for you to worry about my financials Handy!  I'll be saving every penny the next 10 years to buy that Fleming 55!  Then move out of my current house to something much smaller on the water in a state that is much better on taxes, but close enough to the Chesapeake for long visits!
