Rinker off white/biege touch up paint

thought I would post this for anyone who needs to touch up their arch. I bought this quart in 2012 for my previous Rinker, a 2001 310, which had several chips out of the arch when I bought and I'm glad I kept it as it matches the couple of small chips out of my 2006 342 nicely. The 310 had some larger chips so I took a chip to Home Depot and had it matched. They would be able to take this formula and match easily.

The newer boats, I believe from 2007 and newer that have the gel color White-White are the ones with the Ford Oxford White paint on the arch.

Related question, mine is 05 and arch has some clear finish that is coming off as well as some of the color on the handle grip- what do I refinish the clear with, and the color?

I have an 05 320. What did you use as a filler before you primed and painted the arch? I have some really big chips which I need to address.

I did not prime or fill. For the larger chips on my previous boat I should have, but I didn't think about it at the time. The paint held on just fine with some light sanding and cleaning prior to paint. The largest area I did was maybe a few square inches. Would have looked better filled but it looks a heck of a lot better painted than chipped! On my current boat the couple of chips I've used this on are small, like the size of a finger nail clipping! So filling and priming would have made it worse. I just dabbed this in to those chips with 3-4 coats to build and it looks great. Used a very small paintbrush for crafting, maybe 1/8" wide brush.

And then you finished it with some sort of clear finish? Any idea how to match the color on an 05?

Didn't clear coat. this is high gloss. Again, this is just small mini chip touch up paint. If you want to fill, prime, clear coat, etc then better to have it done right. If you have a small chip and some paint that matches the arch color will look better than the dark gray chip for $8 this will work. Were kinda over thinking my intent here

@Liberty44140 I'm with you no one should get that close.And it's good to seal it up. My 05 has some same chips I'll be doing what you did.I save the pic so I have the code.

Does zinc chromate come in a pint can?

Most of my problem is a clear that is flaking off- assume the paint will go shortly after. The only area I been to paint is the hand grip built into the arch. Just not sure what to do with the clear coming up.
