Can someone let me know the tools required to remove the props from a Mercruiser Bravo III.

Bayrunner Member Posts: 177 ✭✭✭I pulled my props off over the weekend. Using a 4 foot 2x3 everything worked fine and had no problems. The bearings were clogged with old dry lube and took a wire brush and cleaned the brass bearing until they looked brand new. Polished the props and they too look shiny. Know I have to clean the shaft removing the old lube and adding new lube. BTW; I used a pipe wrench to remove the 2 3/4" nut securing the inner prop. I just cover it with duct tape before using the pipe wrench. No problems.Bayrunner -- FV312 - Simple Pleasure

I ordered a manual from boats.net using the serial number of my drive, plugged into the Mercury Parts finder site to get the proper manual. It looks like @califco has a PDF version.
