We have a crack in our arch at the bottom on both sides from what I don't know just appeared over winter..??

Sounds like water got into the arch then froze.

Not an unusual problem - unsightly, but not dangerous.  I had it on my 2003 342 after a couple years.  Two solutions:

1) Double-check anything installed on the arch, such as radar, GPS or antennas, to make sure it can't leak water into the arch.  Over-engineer everything, because water will try to get in no matter what you do.

2) Drill a small drain hole into the base of the arch so that any water entering the arch can drain out.  That's the warranty repair that was performed on my boat.

My first thought s were correct freeze. But had to ask thanks for all the help sorry for me but of response I got no notification for the discussion. Thanks is for all your help.

Good idea on re sealing, this summer I had some water coming through my radar arch lights and found that both my gps antenna and anchor light leaked so this month I removed and re sealed everything on the arch but the radar. Decided not to screw with that for now.

FYI. I found on my 342 water was getting in from the bottom joint of the arch and the glass/windshield.  It looks caulked. The water gets in by running under the glass frame/seal straight in.
