Radar arch mystery Crack in Aluminum. 1998 330 Fiesta Vee

We have a crack in our arch at the bottom on both sides from what I don't know just appeared over winter..??

LaRea Member, Moderator Posts: 7,747 modNot an unusual problem - unsightly, but not dangerous. I had it on my 2003 342 after a couple years. Two solutions:
1) Double-check anything installed on the arch, such as radar, GPS or antennas, to make sure it can't leak water into the arch. Over-engineer everything, because water will try to get in no matter what you do.
2) Drill a small drain hole into the base of the arch so that any water entering the arch can drain out. That's the warranty repair that was performed on my boat. -
