Guys

To switch the power to my chart plotter I use the switch highlighted in the picture, I would of thought the chart plotter would of been powered by the Electronic switch, any help appreciated

Was the plotter installed by the factory? On my 280, the plotter was installed by Rinker and it is turned on by the Electronics switch.

If it a Garmin chartplotter there are settings that allow it to be turned on via switch or the built-in power button. On my boat I use a separate switch to power on my chartplotter and power up my NMEA2000 backbone at the same time... now I never have to worry about one being on while the other is not.

My radar/gps combo gets power from an acc switch at the panel.

Not exactly, it is an acc switch in the help panel switches like yours but the switches on my 342 are positioned differently on the dash.
