Someone put a vessel sink in their 342 head - Found IT!!!

WildboatingWildboating Member Posts: 957 ✭✭✭
I recall someone redoing the head with new countertop, vessel sink and tile but I can not seem to find it under any searches.   Does anyone recall or was it you?  Can you post a link please?

That I would remember! Maybe it was a newer boat?

So what does a stock 342 bath look like?

Nice! I like it but having that custom counter top made without the sink hole would not be worth the $ to me. Randy, the stock 342 head is the same except no tile backsplash and the counter top is the same corian as the galley which is likely the same as the shelf corian you see in that pic. Stock has the recessed stainless sink and the same faucet as the galley. Upgrades here are tile, counter top, sink and faucet. All else is the same.

It looks so big compared to the 270. with the separate shower, u could have a party in there.

You talking about mine? LOL  Those raised sinks love to splash water all over the place

Its true, the separate shower in the 342 is a game changer (at least for us). We never use the shower house anymore (for showers). We have friends who are pretty hot on their Sea Ray's and Tiara's (which are indeed nice boats) and then they see our head and just kinda stare at first....

I like the backsplash, but definitely not the raised sink.  The 342 is the smallest size Rinker that has the separate shower.  Definitely a game changer with the separate shower!

I don't think that is actual tile. Home Depot and Lowes sells peel and stick imitation tile now lol

JME is correct, it is peel and stick which is perfect for this application!

That would be sweet with the actual shower....it's ok sitting on the can taking a shower, gets the job done foe me but yes, that is a game changer for sure...
