Yes, I know we post before-and-after photos like this pretty much every year, but it just feels so good to get that spring coat of wax on there. I used 3M rubbing compound, followed by 3M Finesse polish and Collinite Fleetwax. The starboard side is done. I just need to polish and wax the port side, assuming my arms and shoulders last that long.

2016 season I did the exact same 3M/wax process. Lasted through the season quite well. This year I did not have to compound so I did the Presta Polish and wax so we will see how it holds up compared to the 3M.

Do NOT buy the red pad they tell you to buy, it did not yield good results on my dark hull... the rest of the stuff worked great!
