246 speakers

I currently have the normal 6 speakers on my Captiva 246. it sounds great but when we are in the water would like to get a little more direct music.

Thinking about adding 2 speakers on the back hatch. any thoughts on this, or any other ideas besides a tower.
plan on using 
a polk audio 5.25 round or 5 by 7 speaker.

Those will be subjected to lots of water/spray.  Even though speakers are marine rated, they really won't do well over an extended amount of time with that much exposure.

Why not add speaker jacks in side the boat and make the speakers removable and just plug them in when anchored????????? Just say'n......
