How to find rub rail replacement for 2001 232 Captiva?

So I searched for this discussion thread and didn't find one - so here we go - My 232 CC rub rail is functionally ok - just very marked up and scratched.  I found a rub rail from Taco that is SO CLOSE in size and shape.  The dimensions posted by Taco is a height of 1-3/16".  When I measure my vinyl rub rail insert it is a full 1-1/2".  So I don't think the Taco will fit.  Has anyone replaced the rub rail on their 232 Captiva CC?  If so where did you find it?  Thanks in advance.

Have you found a rub rail replacement yet?  I have the same issue, I want to replace the rub rail on my 2000 Captiva 232 (which is white) and I cannot seem to find one.

I’ve heard that a magic eraser really cleans up the rub rail nicely.

I would like to replace mine, as well. I like the look of the chrome ones.
