Alton pool

Thinking about moving my 370 from LOTO to the Alton pool mainly because LOTO is so darn crowded and I want to take some river trips. It's also 2 hrs closer. I don't know a lot about the boating in that area though. Can someone recommend which marinas I should look at. Any other pros/cons? Thanks!
