Carpet Removal

Ok, so we hate our carpet in the salon. I'd like to see some pics on what you've all done after removal.

Do some searching here, there are some great threads showing what guys had to do to remove carpet and what it looks like without carpet and then some nice shots of different wood, vinyl and laminate new floors.

Yea, lot of threads to search on here and I didn't see any titled carpet removal.

Any thoughts or finished pics of your carpet replacements? Got my samples in today from Lonseal. Good looking and nice quality.....now I just need some WARM weather!

Those samples look nice!!!! I like the traditional on the left and would probably go with that to be factory, but man the dark on the right looks pretty cool and modern! Good luck with that choice! Looks like it is $40 a foot for 6ft wide pieces? Have you found a lower price?

My son and I like the darker one too. Looked at some other products, but the quality of this product is far superior. Can't wait to get the shrink wrap off, but more snow this weekend.

The samples look great!  the dark is more modern looking, but for me I'd go with the light just because it is already so dark down below.  Either way it will look great!

This is on my list for next year but unlike everyone else, I am taking ALL the carpet out and every inch will be covered with my choice of flooring.

I will glue the material on the vertical surfaces. It will be a vinyl material so that can be conformed with a heat gun if needed. I will also get a qt of paint that matches the color for any area that the material cant attach too. I will cut the carpet out everywhere it meets the cabinets, furniture, etc.
