Aqua Marine Deck Teak Flooring

Looking at getting the simulated Teak flooring for the swim platform and cockpit on my boat. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the company or products of Aqua Marine Deck. There price is around half of that of SeaDek. They have quoted me $1548 plus shipping for the cockpit and swim platform.

brandon, don't know anything about Aqua, but was wondering where you boat at, I'm going to make a trip to Golconda IL,  this spring.

I have ordered and installed seadek on my scarab jet boat last year and I just received Marine Mat for my Rinker. The Marine Mat is half the price and in my opinion just as nice if not nicer quality.

Agreed. My marinemat is shipping this week. $800 for the cockpit area of a 360.

we leave the boat at Kentucky dam marina near gilbertsville. It's pretty close to Golconda. Are you just traveling or going to be boating?

I have boated on Barkley off and on for the past 38 years, rented a temporary slip last summer for a month in the spring there at Kattawa. Will probably make a trip to Golconda late this spring then on to the lakes from there. Depending on the water level on the Ohio River, It's 110 mile trip from home to Golconda, by water. Have been to KDM many times. I'll keep you posted on the trip, we'll hook up and I 'll buy you a cold one.

We go to Kuttawa quite often for dinner or just to hang out. A friend we boat with does all their electrical work and knows the owner so we try to get over there quite often. 

Let me me know for sure. We would love a good trip on the boat this summer. Just gotta get my fuel pump fixed up hopefully in the next week or so and pray that's the issue and it's not something else.

Yes marinemat is what Rinker uses on new boats.

Got my AquaMarineDeck installed and Love it. It does get warm in the direct hot sun but the only place on my boat not in shade is usually the platform. Its just slightly warm, nothing that will burn you. Went down really easy and made the boat look great!

Haha actually a few are off a little bit but, no harm no foul. I'm the only one who notices it usually.

I am very interested in this stuff. Did you have carpet with snaps and what did you use to fill the holes?

Mechanical issue is not fixed. Boats at the marina right now and supposed to be pulled out any minute. Coupler is going to have to be replaced. Not the best news this early in the season but hopefully it gets done quickly so there's minimal down time.

I did have the snaps. I just used a small dab of silicone to fill them. My boat is always in a covered slip and never sees rain or water in the cockpit so i wasn't too worried about it.

I used 5200 to fill the holes.

How long do they stay wet? Does the water drain off?
