We have an EC 360 which is new to us last fall.  We did not go crazy but took care of what was needed.  New starboard trim actuator, rebuilt both outdrives, had to put a whole new drive line on the starboard one. The bellows must have leaked the season before we bought it the U-joint had seized. There was some wear to the bushing and bearing, so we replaced it all.  Repaired the chipped skeg on the port outdrive.  Bought a new RIB, Highfield CL-290 with a 6 HP Honda.  Underpowered, I know, but I did not like the idea of horsing the 8.0 or 9.9 around.  We renamed the boat, as we are new owners, so all the old graphics and striping came off, new graphics will go on soon.  I am looking at the Raymarine hybrid touch screen as an upgrade to the multi-display.  I will let you know if I pull the trigger on that.   Cover comes off next week...splash date is May 8th if weather holds out.

How dare you call that a gps. It is a fish finder, plotter, radar, auto pilot, and engine management. It can do anything but produce Jennifer Aniston on the bow cushion. LOL

The Ray Marine fizzled out the day before we returned so we may be needing to replace it. I wish we didn't have company coming for Memorial Day or we would jump in your wake and go back. it was truly relaxing. Watch for Crab pots they are all over the place.

He doesn't have time for his boat since it is in his back yard. He used it more when he lived up North and it was slipped at a marina. :D

I apologize if I missed it, but how did you drill the hole that size successfully?

I had my friend do it (he is a carpenter by trade) but I have done them before too.  We used a roto zip tool to cut the hole.  I put blue masking tape on the fiberglass and we traced the supplied template.  Instead of cutting the whole thing with the roto zip we cut holes around the perimeter with a 2 inch hole saw and connected the dots.  As with any holes you are cutting, check what is behind where you are cutting and if the depth is ok.
