How do you pull the steering wheel?

Can someone help me with how to pull the steering wheel off of a 1993 Rinker Fiesta Vee 260? I need to remove the ship to shore radio and the only way to do it is to pull the wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Assuming like most the wheel fits on a splined shaft secured by a nut, here is a special tool called, surprisingly, a steering wheel puller. You might be able to rent one locally, or I know O'Reilly Auto Parts and Wal-Mart sell one made by a company called Performance Tool for around $25. Remove the nut and apply some penetrating oil because the wheel is often well stuck on the splines, certainly after 24 years,  so good luck.

loosen the nut until it is flush with the end of the shaft. apply pressure to the back of the wheel with the top of knees, and pull on the top of the wheel with one hand and hit the nut and shaft with a hammer.
