Top side thickness

so I am a little OCD well maybe a ton
all of my toys have to be Prestine condition
So I want to put few trim pieces inside the cabin 
what is the total top side thickness so I don't end with a screw poking thru lol

    surprisingly, on my rig it was about 1/2~3/4 an inch...  I ran a 3" hole through behind the port bow seat cushion so I could install a ski-tower properly (front stanchion- couldn't reach it any other way)- and was thoroughly impressed with the amount of glass rinker used, even where it isn't absolutely required.

    I think the thickness will vary quite a bit, depending on the location in the boat. I learned that the side of the boat's thickness, was only like 3/8 or 7/16" when I installed the wakeboard tower on my 232. The aluminum plates that get bolted on the inside, are where the strength comes from on that install.  Not sure if there's a way to know the thickness on a given area, besides the exploratory drill method......yikes.
