Can someone advise on how to get the center covers out of the fridge and Ice maker so i can replace them.   I read somewhere that the top pops off but that didnt work or im afraid to break it.    Boat is a 03 342.

Take door off, remove screws on bottom plastic trim and remove. Slide in new metal. you do not need to remove the old one except to use as a template.

You have to remove the door brackets too

Well i feel like a dummy..  But it was dark out when i first tried.   Still, really not an excuse.    Anyhow, thanks for the direction.   Did you glue panels onto the freezer or did yours slide out?  Mine seems to be glued to the insualtion face.   Wondering if i should just face glue a panel for the ice maker.

You probably have no insert. That glued piece is the backing. If you look at the door frame, there is an open channel ~1/8" wide all around. That is where the insert goes.
