Not sure of the size but it can be googled or measured at the boat.
i assume he is referring to the check valve at the fuel tank pickup tube

When I did my sending units I removed and checked them

@zaverin1 where exactly are the valves at in relation to the senders? I did my sender last spring when I converted to smartcraft and I didn't see anything

Its the valve that the main fuel line is attached to that feeds the fuel pumps

The valve is on the line that goes into the fuel cool module? I would think it would be further upstream than that

Right out of the tank 90deg pickup tube
    this valve screws in

AHHHHHH I know what you're talking about now. Thats crazy. I never knew that was a valve. Thought it was just a regular brass fitting

Now why you want it replaced
    fuel draining back?
Grab the 90 deg fitting which is the pickup tube
with one wrench then slowly unscrew the valve with other
unscrew it and then suck in and then blow out
    should only work one way
when you suck in put your tongue and see if it holds suction

In my other thread I noted the gas dock fill up after replacing two sending units last fall.
    according to my oem Gages
i was within 5 plus or minus gal which is
    good in my book

when i replaced sending units I also had to remove check valves for clearance.
carb models rely on them to keep fuel in the line for easier prime even with electric fuel pumps.
reason for sending unit replacement was fuel gages bouncing on plane and port reading only to half tank and dropping to e after
On top of that old owner had tank wires reversed at gage cluster so port was star and star was port lol
