exhaust hose

has anyone ever used this type of exhaust hose in place of exhaust bellows going from the intermediate pipe to the y-pipe? i have a new y-pipe that is falling 2'' short of the original and my exhaust bellows don't meet up. if i can use this style hose in place of the bellows, that would save me a lot of money(new y-pipe) and time(pulling the engine and waiting for the new part) thanks in advance

i have noticed that there is a semi rigid version that doesn't have the re-enforcement wire. would that work better for flexibility between the y-pipe and the intermediate pipe? or does it really matter? once again thanks guys, your knowledge is gold and i appreciate your assistance.

Without the water flowing out the elbow, that stuff will burn regardless of its rating..
