I am stumped.  I have an 07' 246 Captiva BR.  My cockpit lights do not work.  it is only the cockpit lights...all other electrical is fine.  breaker switch it tripped...when i push it in to reset...it pops right back out.  I wouldnt think there is a fuse, since it has a breaker.  I'm stumped...please help!

Ground out?! Check to see if a screw or the wiring got pinched. Or the breaker could be bad. Check the connections. Could anything else be tied to that switch that is drawing to much amperage?

Could mean that you've got an exposed wire somewhere shorting out?! Or a broken bulb??

great feedback guys, thank you!  I think I will start with checking the bulbs 1st, then pull the dash off and check the wiring to the switch/breaker...and replace the breaker if I dont see anything glaring.  sound like a good process of elimination?
