I broke the stainless steel latch on the transom door on my 280 this past weekend. Had the door latched and tried opening the engine compartment hatch (so dumb). Does anyone know where or who makes them? I would like to replace it something comparable and that looks good as well

Out of the 3 Perko barrel bolts, it is the largest one. Perko 947DP3CHR, size 5-1/4" X 1-7/16"

I have caught myself 3 or 4 times prior to now. I was just in a hurry on Saturday when buttoning up the boat as a storm was rolling in lol

Very happy with the setup on my 2000 FV270. The rear door has no latch. The oversize single hinge pin is notched so that you lift and swing the door and it locks into place. No latch to forget. Don't know why they ever changed it.

They're pricey!! I made that same (dumb) mistake last year! Talked to some guys that have bought 2 or 3 because they've done that more than one time! Lol.
