What is this for ?

Guys

In the Engine bay on the starboard side there is a cut out with a float switch inside also a black round sensor looking thing. What is this for.

On the Port side is a depth sounder

    IMO its either an old transducer or a temp prob...... Maybe....lol

    Looks like a P79, for a fishfinder or similar.

    Looks like a through hull depth trasnducer. Where is that black cable going to?

    Looks like a "shoot thru the hull" transducer. I added a similar one to my 320 8 years ago.
