New isolator ....or go new style digital?

While poking around today, I checked into something I noticed last year. I have 14.35v alt output, and 13.1 on one leg of the isolator, and 13.6 on the other. So.....I'm going to replace it, but trying to decide, go to a new style digital one, or stick to the tried and true? Anyone install one of the newer ones? Where did you pick up the ign. sense? Not sure if its worth the extra hassle and expense.

When I replaced mine, I went with the same one. I didn't see a digital one when I was looking or I might have considered it.

I think I'm just gonna replace it with the normal same kind.....quick fix....I've been doing enough tinkering, I wanna just use it.....stupid boats......lol

hate to tell you but a 1.2 volt drop on the outputs is totally normally with the diodes. read up on it and you will see. No need to change it. 

I went through the same thing and learned all the ins and outs the hardway. If all your outputs are the same or within .3 volts -+ then you are doing good.
