06 Captiva 246CC Blower rocker switch

Hey everyone, thought I'd ask before I take apart half my dash. My blower rocker switch tripped, fuse popped out and switch will not turn off. Just your thoughts, wire behind the switch, wire at the blower motor?  Anyone ever had this before?

Sounds like a bad switch and/or blower motor

I would disconnect the blower in the engine compartment, reset the breaker, then try the switch. If the breaker pops, then it is something closer to the dash. If it doesn't, then it is the blower. There should be a molex connector by the blower, so that would be an easy place start.
