I've searched the threads and could not find anything. The filter/strainer next to my pump, should that be full of water? I run the pump and it does fill at all.
I looks like the filter is upside down but it may work that way. While the pump is running, crack open the filter a bit, that usually helps get it primed

It's not upside down, mine is the same way. It should fill with water, does your pump stop once it reaches pressure or does it keep running? If it's keeps running you may have a leak in the system and that's why your filter isn't filling up.
Is your hot water tank drain closed? all other faucets shut off are you getting any water thru the lines? if no water comes out at all then there is a screen filter in the canister that needs to be checked and if the pump is dry try priming the pump by filling canister with water
If pump is running but there is no water in filter more than likely you are air locked and have you've lost the prime. As stated before, crack open the filter canister while the pump is running.

I am serious most people forget about hot water tank drain valve lol one year I forgot to close it after wintering and in the spring bilge pump kept running lol
What boat? On my 310 it's behind the panel on the stbd side of the aft cabin. If pump is running, like others said could be just air, these won't pressurize and shut off with air in there and no water in the filter suggests that is the issue, not a water leak per se. If you had a leak this would have water in it and at some point a bilge pump would kick in. Do you have a shore connection? if so, plug in and open faucets and get most of the air out - same will apply as to a leak, it's will come out somewhere once your float does it's job.
I have 2005 300. I will check there. I also found this, the big grey line is broken off. Correct me if I'm wrong but this should not make a difference because I believe is for the shower drain?

I don't know where your located but its possible a line or fitting could be cracked if the system wasn't winterized properly.
