Binoculars?

West Marine has their brand of binoculars on sale for 50% off this weekend. I bought a pair of the Coastal 100 for $50 and wondering if I should've bought the Coastal 200(on sale for $100). Anyone have any first hand knowledge?

I don't have any experience with them but my wife used to work for Canon years ago and she bought me a pair at a discounted price. Love them!

Those are sweet.... image stabilization is out of my league. Lol

I see the exact same specs for both pairs except the 200's have an IPX-7 waterproof rating while the 100's are only splash resistant. When I bought I went waterproof, obviously if you ever do drop them overboard they may or may not be found again anyway, but if you do find them at least they still might work. But I did it more for the thought that if it's raining/wet I don't have to worry bout them as much. I also use mine for Moose hunting in Northern Ontario, so that made a difference too.
I'd be curious as to who manufactures these for WM....Could be a big name like Nikon or a lesser like Tasco.
