We were out to watch the fireworks and got caught in a rainstorm that ended up cancelling the show. When wiping down the boat i turned on the windshield wipers. One didn't work and the other wouldn't shut off after i turned it on. I ended up pulling the dash and then disconnecting the switch. Still didn't shut it off. I looked at the back of the connector to the rocker switch and there was a capacitor. At this point that was the only thing that could of been supplying it power. I cut it and problem was solved. So I need a wiper motor, both arms need to be replaced and now i am guessing a switch. In looking online it looks like the motor is a Marinco/AFI but the switch's are all different and the price is all over the place. Marinco has one for $140 and the cheapest is Ongaro for $23. Has anyone had to replace the switch before? Not just the rocker but the whole thing?
