Rinker 272 Bowrider

My wife and I looked at a 272 this past weekend and noticed that it seemed that the ignition switch had to be on to use the stereo.  Is this the case or is there an accessory position?  The reason I ask is if we purchase the boat, I would like to install an hour meter to keep track of service intervals and with the ignition switch on (even with engine off) the hour meter will count hours.

key turned to the left is usually how you get it to the ACC position..

It should have an accessory position. My 1998 232 had an accessory position on it and so does my current 2008 280EC.

I'm surprised the radio is connected to the ignition switch, most are hard wired. I would find another power source, for the radio.

My 98 272 is also through the ignition switch. Accessory position to the left.
