2006 390 - ULine Ice Maker Replacement

JPCRUZEJPCRUZE Member Posts: 41 ✭✭
Tis the season for repairs. I need to replace the ULine Icemaker on my 390. I just wanted to check with you all to see if anyone has found a good spot to pick one up? Seems like they hover at about $1000 to replace.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
JP

They always seem to be about $1k, I think I've seen them for $900. What is wrong with yours?

Yup, the replacement cost has always been right around one boat-unit (for reasons nobody can understand).

Ours gets used mostly as a freezer that I refill with bag ice, and it's a must-have.

we love the ice maker, one of those things that we didn't care about when we bought the boat and would now be a must have on the next one. Nice to have on the dock too, our friends know that when they need enough for a drink we have them covered.

Why not repair yours instead of a new one? Compressor is only couple hundred bucks and a new door is about $150............ Just say'n.
