2006 390 - Lighting up the name and hailing point on the hatch

Has anyone come up with a good side light config that could go on each side of the hatch lighting up the name and hailing port when the transom lights are turned on? I don't feel like investing in a custom backlit situation for the name and hailing port on the hatch but thought maybe someone had come up with something like this. 

any ideas would be appreciated

    Someone on the Facebook page lit up a 280 EC's hatch from the sides with blue LED's. It looked pretty good. If your hatch is recessed in, it can be done.

    Have you considered LEDs embedded in the grab rail that goes across the top of your transom locker door?  

    Just throwin' it out as an idea.  You'd have to drill holes in the bottom of the rail, install an LED in each hole, and fish the wires back through the rail to the inside of the door.  It would not be easy, but I bet it would look great.  

    Doral used to do something similar with LEDs in the bow railings.
