Intermitent beeps

2001 FV 310, carbed 350's B3's..   Having intermitent alarms beeping from behind the dash when going slowing and the boat is rocking... (like low fluid splashing). The lower unit monitors are full... oil is full... any ideas?

I had those beeps on my 2000 340.  The lower units needed lube.  Not sure what else is tided to those alarms.

Ok.. cool pdf on the link... Im 99% sure it has to do with drive lube... does anyone know if the sensore is located in the monitor resivoir or in the drive itself?

It's in the reservoir need to clean it out every once in awhile the **** messes with the sensor

Thats what im thinkin too Boomer... The resivoir is pretty gunky.. Ill get it cleaned out and refill.. hopefully that will do it.

..Or the "C" word. What about funk. OY Vey, whatta pc world. Surely it's a bit too tight of a list. It's certainly the cleanest sailor forum I can imagine although my mama would be happy. "he's such a good boy ever since he started with that RBOC group".   :^o

I just checked the no-no list and the word "gunk" is not on there. And once again I was reminded of what a horrible list that is! Now I know Boomer is obsessed with seeing it.

Take the reservoir off the bracket. Dump it out. You'll see the junk. Brake cleaner or rinsing with mineral spirits well works.

@raybo3 ... I copied the list from a Bad Word Dictionary I found online. Like I said.... alarmingly comprehensive!
