Removing flush mounted radar unit

I have 2003 34 ft Rinker Fiesta Vee. I want to remove my radar unit that is flush mounted in the dash. What is the best way to get at this. I have removed the cup holder but I can't get at the screws that are holding the unit in place. What else can I remove. Because of the age of the boat can I remove the electrical panel on the dash without it breaking?

Today I took all the screws out of the instrument panel was able to remove it. So now I;m on my way.
