fuel pump locations and how many

Been reading and it's saying that MPI engines have 2 fuel pumps a low pressure and a high pressure.

I know I have one by the water fuel seperatar, but where would the other located?  I don't have a cool fuel filter on my engine.

You do have a fuel cooler, Gen 2. It is on the opposite side of the engine from the fuel/water filter.

Underneath the port side of your 350 mag you find a black box that houses the cool fuel 2 module.  Inside you will find your high pressure pump and the cool fuel water jacket.    The boost pump is your low pressure assistant and is mounted next to the water / fuel seperator.

Is there a filter that should be changed associated with the cool fuel Gen 2?

Not on the Gen 2.  There is a screen at the pressure regulator, but it is after all the filters and I would say not a typical service item.  See the links I posted.

How in the world do you access this fuel pump assembly without pulling the engine? I am working through replacing it now and I'm stumped on how get to it and work on it effectively. It is buried below the header on the starboard side basically at the bottom of the bilge. Any help is appreciated!
