Time to find a replacement microwave turntable

Funny thing happened while rounding Point Lookout, where the Potomac River joins the Chesapeake Bay.  The Bay was a lumpy, angry, unhappy girl today.  In the lower Potomac, we took our beating for 40 minutes with 4-footers right in our face -- no complaints.  Then we rounded the point, and the waves started hitting our starboard.  That's when the microwave decided to open its door and eject the glass turntable.

It clipped the edge of the countertop and basically exploded shards of glass everywhere.  Such fun cleaning up that mess after a long cruise!  Only one minor cut toe so far.

The door on my microwave won't open so I think my turntable safe. See some things are for a reason.
