340 sundancer vs 342 rinker??? 01 to 05

Has anyone owned both of these or had experience with these. Been looking for the sundancer but recently found the 342 and like the layout. Seems like it should be a similar ride. Quality of deck and fiberglass comparable?

And I don't think you will ever find a 340 with diesels. Just sayin

The Sea Rays def have deck issues but read some posts on here as well with the 342. I found a 342 with the 8.1s which I like. price wise comparable just never ridden on one. Do they sit higher in the water with more "rolling"?

A 342 with 496s (8.1s) would really jump on plane and I bet it would get really great (comparatively speaking) gas mileage. If my memory serves, the 342 has a lot more head room - particularly in the front berth area - that the SR 340. The separate shower as Steve said - is, in my opinion, a huge plus.

A 342 with 8.1s has V drives and gets .6 MPG.

Really? I thought the biggest engine was a 6.2??
