STORING THE GRILL ON THE 270

where do 270 owners usually store their grill. I just installed my new kuuma 125 propane grill.  I kinda fished it into the storage compartment opposite the helm seat for now    
Also, my propane regulator connects to the tank then it just pushes into the side of the burner then rotates down and hangs. when i remove, should i leave the regulator attached to store or should i remove?

Where do you put the propane tank?  Isn't there regulations about have that on board?

How about finding a place in the engine room?  Minus the propane of course?

I bought a plastic bin for the grill left it on the floor by the table, I remove the regulator wrap in a paper towel and lock in the grill, put a box under the grill with 2 propane tanks. This has worked for me in my 270.

I put my kettle grill in engine compartment. bungee it to the side, but it's such a  pain to get in and out. It will not fit in any seat compartment. Nice grill if it fit's there. also separate the propane from the regulator. Your's is a better location. The last time I used it, just brought it home.

Ok. Just very cincerned about leaking propane.  I'd rather the little fat tank be under a seat cushion up top where there's no spark. Was thinking about putting a little stubby pole mount in eng compartment but lifting the hatch with a few people on the boat is a pia   I now have two little toters I keep down there for trash and other stuff for day trips.  Kinda where the genny would go. They are usually empty.

@Trashman I have a Magma brand propane storage bag that attaches to the bow rail and holds 2 propane cans.  If they were to leak, the gas would end up over the water.

I like that! Is that for a rectangular grill or round.  Mine is 11w11h20L.

Ok.  My reading comprehension could be better, lol.   That is just for butane/propane tank storage... Not for the grill.   I think I'll order that because I read the description and it states for boats without approved tank storage.  That leads me to believe there is a special procedure for storing tanks. ...Very good info

Mine stays in my dock box unless I specifically know I'm going to use it. Then it sits wrapped in an old towel under the table in front of the rear seat. Propane tanks never on board until using, when under way they sit in the open in a small box that holds three cylinders, sitting up on the side of the seat where I can see them easily.

Fiberglass can cause static electricity. Sooooo be be very careful on storing on a boat.

I tossed the cooler holder on mine, and put a door on....huge amount of space there. Fits in there great
