Heading out soon

Saturday morning we're headed out on our Huron Loop trip.  We're leaving from our house on Lake St. Clair and headed to Port Austin.  Sunday we go to Alpena, and should be at Mackinaw Island Monday and Tuesday.  From there we head over to the North Channel and work our way down into Georgian Bay before we head home.  The trip plan is 2 weeks.

I'll have service on and off and will try to post updates.

Yikes. Thats quite a trip. I like to google earth places people travel to. Youll be burning quite a bit of gas.  Safe travels

Day 1, made it to Port Austin.  Had some rollers that made it feel a little like a roller coaster but nothing bad. We usually have more chop than swell on Lake St Clair. Heading up to Alpena next. Forecast looks good.

You're about 175 miles due west of me. As the crow flies. But when you get down into the south end of Georgian Bay you'd be closer. Safe journey.
