Need alternator help, 4 wires on engine, new alternator has no marks

This is a new to me boat, the alternator is one thing that needs to be replaced. I bought the DB Electrical that some recommended. It came with no instructions or labeling on actual alternator, does anybody know where the four wires from the engine go on the new one. Can the orange wire, red wire and red w/purple wire all go on the charging post together?

Sorry I'm not your best bet here.  But who makes a product with no labeling or instructions?  Seems odd

Alternators are all the same.  Big lug on the back is where battery hooks up...then you should have a mogal plug that goes into the female socket.  Ground goes to one of the bolts on the side of the case

Nothing on the site. After reading a lot I do see that they are all the same and I know where the ground and the positive are. It did not come with a plug either. I guess it's just about deciding where the sense wire and the excite wire hook up to on those two pin plugs. Did buy it on Amazon so who knows if the retailer didn't include instructions instead of DB. Thanks

That is the wrong alternator. There is a year break on them . What year is your boat.

I went down this road last year with a friend's 96 searay. They say there the same .I got the connector  for a Gmoment. At napa. It overcharged all the time. Put the old style 4 wire back on. I put the new one from dB on my boat this year. It's fine.

My Captiva is a '98. Can you all tell me where I find the original style, how do I look it up. Guys at Autozone didn't have a clue. I could also get mine rebuilt I guess.

Yes i have the 5.7 V8. I know Autoz is not the best place but I thought I would ask because they're right next to my house and the marinas far away. Amazon let me return the new DB. Don't you think that link I last posted is the right one? My serial is 0L072733,  model MCM 5.7 litre.Thank you.
 I put the old Mando back in and went for a ride and it seemed to be charging a lot better just from cleaning the rusty batt terminal.
