Engines idle at 650, blip throttle in neutral and starboard engine hangs

starboard hangs at 1500 while port drops back to 650. Where should I start looking.

2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee, 350 Mag MPI, Bravo 3 2.20:1 w/ 22p 4 x4 props

Can you hear the engine at the higher RPM or could it be the gauge acting up?

Engine is rev'd up, smart craft gauges.
